My son Christopher and I made the long trip to Cuba to try out street photographer with the help of Louis Alarcon, a local photographic guide. He took use on a whirlwind trip through the streets and alleys of Havana and the farms of Vinales. I was well outside my comfort zone being most at home in a studio but the freedom to take pictures of almost anyone in a wide range of situations was exciting and terrifying at the same time. As the trip progressed I become more relaxed and was able to make the most of the photo opportunities that presented themselves.
